Holistic approach to herpes

Holistic approach to herpes

Herpes results from infection with the herpes simplex virus (HSV). It causes sores or blisters in or around the mouth or genitals. Symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, swollen lymph nodes, painful urination, eye infection, itching, burning, or tingling around the mouth, lips, or tongue.

While there is no cure for herpes, there are different ways to reduce outbreaks and minimize symptoms. Pro: Anti-viral medications like acyclovir will assist with relieving symptoms and prevent virus from multiplying. Con: it will not cure herpes. The pro for home remedies is it can alleviate discomfort; the con is they can help relieve the symptoms but won’t help herpes go away. The pro for herbs/supplements is they can assist with minimizing outbreaks and sooth discomfort; the con is they can help relieve the symptoms but won’t help herpes go away.

Holistic protocol to assist with restoring wellness regarding herpes.

1) Minimize stress

2) Purchase herbs listed below in the pic and consume 2x a day no set duration...EVERYDAY. be creative on incorporating into meals (salad dressing, soup broth, etc)

3) Multivitamin for mitochondria support- https://amzn.to/40bhzzq or whatever you prefer.

Arginine, an amino acid found in many foods, may contribute to the spread of herpes. This is due to its ability to promote viral growth, which speeds up the body’s natural ability to reproduce certain viruses, including HSV-1 and HSV-2. It is best to avoid eating foods like turkey breast, pork loin, chicken breast, nuts (especially peanuts), pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, soybeans and lentils that are high in arginine. Instead, stick to a diet that gives you vitamins, minerals and essential nutrients without arginine.

Lysine is a naturally occurring amino acid produced within the body. Its consumption has been linked to inhibiting arginine activity. Fortunately, lysine supplements exist in pill form, making it easier to get enough of the herpes-preventing amino acid daily. Lysine supplement- https://amzn.to/43vXyGn
